Yes, but there does seem to be a bug in the way they support the 'Lino, at
least in Optical v3.1. They ask you to calibrate (to the white tile) with
the UV filter mounted (so far, so good) but then it goes all whacky when you
actually try to go thru the monitor calibration/profiling portion with the
filter in place.
The only workaround I found was to let it calibrate to the white tile (it
freaks if the UV filter is not mounted) but then immediately REMOVE the
filter and replace it with the "U"/no filter, recalibrate the 'Lino by
simply placing it on the tile and pressing the head once and then continue
on with the process. Weird but it worked. The key was not letting Optical
know that the UV filter had been replaced!
CDT, since you seem to have the ears of ColorVision, maybe you could ask
them about this issue and also when we might see support for the Eye-One. I
know it may not be in their "best interest" to support the Gretag gear in
light of their Spyders, but it can't hurt to widen the hardware support of
their otherwise excellent software. Just a thought.
Regards,
Terry
