Check here for a Sept. 4 press release from HP containing
descriptions and pricing for the 10ps, 20ps and 50ps (30ps?):
(
http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press/05sep01a.htm)
The release says one of the differences between the 10ps and the 20ps
is "extra paper handling" which I assume means you can attach a
second paper tray. At least this is consistent with another HP source
(
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/plotters/support_doc/bpp03509.html)
containing more indepth info on the 10ps and 20ps. There I find a
chart listing both the 10ps and 20ps as having "second input trays"
holding 250 sheets.
I read that Adobe and HP have formed some kind of alliance. If true,
this makes these HP offerings worth watching.

My faithful old epson printer has recently died. I read about the new
HP printers called 10ps, 20ps, 30ps on the list a month or so ago. I
assume they are not available yet since I have not been able to find out
much about them. Does anyone have any info, links, or know when they
might be available in the U.S.
Tabloid, good resolution and color, PostScript RIP included... 10 is single
machine version, 20 is network version, 30 has Heidelberg RIP instead of HP
RIP, extra paper tray. No third profile slot for emulating devices other than
the CMYK space the files are in, no longevity considerations for the inks,
seperate moderately large cartridges, heads seperate from carts... PostScript
proofing is the only goal.
