Jeff,
I don't understand why you don't need a rip to drive an inkjet to proof 4
color jobs. In any case the HP 5000 works well and if you want even finer
dot the Epson 10000 will get you great screening, visible screen proofing
with Best ScreenProof. With Screenproof you take the 1bit tiff files off the
rip and print out these with color management to any of the recent lfp's.
The similis off Best Screenproof should match or be made to match exactly
your web press.
