The proper term is "you can't please 100% of your audience 100% of the
time".
Until the galaxy settles on one light bulb, one ink set, one substrate, and
one eyeball, it's-a-gonna-look-different.
I don't agree that seeing one sample shift under different lighting
conditions = metamarism, quotes or not, call it "color shift due to lighting
changes". I've always held true to the definition that it involves two
*distinct* samples (and like Bruce, I agree that it doesn't matter what the
samples are).
