We are looking to re-vamp our scanning and color correction area to allow
for color viewing, analysis and correction to be done at the workstation.
Within a room with neutral gray paint and calibrated monitors, we hope to
color correct to originals, both refelective and transmissive. Under
consideration is the use of a small 5000Kw light box for transmissive copy
and the use of a SoLux floor lamp for viewing reflectives. We are
considering 5000Kw fluorescent bulbs for general lighting.
Does anyone have more information on the creation of a room environment for
scanning and color correction and does the feasibility of doing as I've
proposed make sense?
All responses are appreciated.
