I don't see why you'd need the STD_DEV in the file. I just checked a few of
the reference data files I use for digicam profiles (created using Gretag's
Measure Tool) and none of them have that field in them, only XYZ and Lab
readings plus the header data.
What I do if I want "averaged" data of a particular chart is to read it 3-4
times, creating a separate file each time, and simply use the Measure Tool's
"Averaging" function to create my master reference data file.
