This is where the visible size of the black dot is much larger than that of

The rip is just a 'funnel' for the paper and reference profiles.
You decide how the GCR and UCR functions inside your profiles.

When you start to build your own custom profiles, make sure your have set
your black generation to very late . . . I've not used ColorBlind for a
while, as I could not get it to start late enough, but that was before I was
limiting the baseline densities to maximize my total ink weight.

It various for different papers, but anywhere between 3 and 72 hours.
I would be scanning the targets at set intervals and recording the
measurements, to find when the dry back occurs.
The difference between a good and great paper profile is in the baseline and
the total ink setting.
