Subject: Eversmart calibration and ICC workflow
EversmartScan 3.0 has a great feature with it's new ICC workflow and
output simulation in the preview. I notice scans are converted from the
internal calibration profile into the chosen destination profile and do
not
keep track of an embedded profile when opened in Photoshop.
If they are not embedding their final profile (and that sounds like
they're not), that would be a major bug in EverSmartScan.
I suppose this is how it is supposed to be. Am I missing something?
No, it should not be like that.
But in a perfect workflow you also wouldn't have to convert in the
scanning app - it should just embed the scanner profile.
