Look, it might have a UI from another planet and a dangerous mode but it
does have some feature I've never seen in any other product. This isn't an
editor for color wimps!
What's kind of cool is the ability to put edits inside a profile so that you
can process files and in effect put the color edits to those files rather
than use say Photoshop. Or you can use Edit to actually edit your image (not
a profile). It's one of the very few products that can edit input profiles.
I'm kind of looking forward to what ITEC has/will do with version 5.0. It's
hopeful that the new version will not make too many people's heads explode
and will have ample documentation.
Like those that first start using say LinoColor, Edit has a steep learning
curve. But if you hunker down, it does have some tools that you'll find
nowhere else. I still prefer to edit inside of Photoshop (it does have a UI
that provides a warm fuzzy) and I know how all the tools work. But there are
features for profile editing you simply can't find in Photoshop you'll find
in Edit. Just be careful of that dangerous mode!

Oh baby, I'd love to see that one!
