Of course . . . NOT!
I regularly replace process colors with Pantones to build enhanced
4-color process. But I'd agree when using PMS colors on a 5th or 6th
deck for line work. Then, as in the old days, the Pantones could be
represented by a weak color key overlay on the 4-color proof, since
position, not color was what was necessary to check.
