Yes as I mentioned going for a T device complicates the decision of
spectros. The Barbieri XY 100 can be set up to read transmissive charts
programmable to 0.1 mm steps XY , so if measuring IT8's or other small
charts this is much easier. The X-Rite 41T reads large patches quickly but
you need to output a lot of media to have all the patches. On 8x10 film
output film this is cost prohibitive.
