I'm pretty sure by default, when you edit the output portion of the profile,
you get the preview portion updated as well (when you tune just the preview
portion, of course you only affect that portion of the profile). As you save
the edited profile, 4.0 provides you one last chance to control what
intents get edited and I think the direction. I'm not sure why you would
want to edit the output portion and not update the preview portion. Even if
the two were out of sync, I'd suspect the first job would be to tune just
the preview portion to match the output (even though you don't love the
output). THEN edit the output portion (and preview at the same time). By
editing the preview portion first (if necessary), when you open the profile
and file to edit, you see the true effect of the output. If you tune output
before the preview portion is dialed in, I suspect you'd not be seeing what
you're getting.
