Why impossible? As long as the inkjet paper is brighter/whiter than the
press sheet, an absolute colorimetric rendering should get you very close.

The MatchPrint Inkjet System is an OEM of the Best Colorproof RIP. How were
you planning on proofing to the HP5000 without a RIP or were you going to
try and use the internal RIP? It could probably work but there's a whole lot
of other benefits to having a good robust Bestcolor-like RIP driving the HP,
particularly in conjunction with your Rampage workflow. Just a thought.
