Jamie - If you're going to upgrade to a 9600, you're probably going to want to move beyond Press
Ready. Given that the 9600 is a brand new printer, and development (and manufacturing?) of Press Ready
ceased a while ago, I doubt it will even support the 9600.
The BestColor RIP that supports the 9600 is XXL, not Design Edition, and it's available only on
Windows. I've installed this RIP on the 9600, and it works well. Another option if you're Mac-centric
is ProofMaster from PerfectProof. I think their OSX RIP ships this month.
