Good morning.
I am using DTP92 with Monitor Optmizer Software (both from X-Rite).
I defined in Colorsync Display with calibration generated with this
equipment.
I defined as Output profile a very good quality ICC created from a
analogic Proof (Cromalin). I measured this Cromalin and the results in
a software rip as Imation 2.0 (same as BestColor 4.2.3, only difference
is CMM). My print with a Canon BJC 8500 and Cromalin is almost equal.
As Proof ICC in colorsync I defined my Paper profile used in software
rip.
In photoshop I am using as CMYK ICC the same Cromalin ICC and for RGB
Adobe RGB(1998).
In the proof setup I am using the same Cromalin ICC.
I have more magenta than in proof.
I need to correct it.
Could you give me a cue
To calibrate monitor I am using 6500: and gamma 1.8 in a Mac OS 9.2.2.
My last question is: what should be the state of monitor before measure?
I am thinking if I need to apply a profile as RGB Generic or something
like, because I believe that the ICC applied at moment of measurement
could change the final result, and after apply new profile the results
are incorrect?
This make sense?
Thanks for all
