For professional results there are a few top quality flatbeds that can
easily do this , but none with robot automation. You'll have to load the
sleeves (40 mounted slides) and prescan. I believe that the prescans on the
Scitex have preset cut out zones that are sensed by the sleeve employed, not
sure on the others. After the prescans are reviewed you can then just batch
scan them all at optical resolutions of 5000DPI or more. Two models scanners
I like are the Fuji Quattro and the Scitex iSmart ll. Since you're on Fuji
already it uses the same software.
