Pete,
That is not unusual for the target print from an Epson 2000P to look
greenish, however, you should be able to create a "half decent" profile given
the limitation of those particular pigment inks. When I created profiles for
mine a couple of years back, I found the following to work the best:
1. Best paper stock seemed to be Epson's Semi-Gloss and Archival Matte,
though Hahnemuhel's photo rag worked well too and is thicker than Epson's AM.
Most high gloss papers just don't work with those pigment inks.
2. For all of the above stock, try "no color adjustment" and Glossy Film
for the paper setting. That seemed to give closests to neutral (not really
that close...still greenish though but better than others settings) and the
best saturation.
3. Be prepared for manually tweak the profiles to get the neutrals as close
as you can and you should be good to go.
That printer and that early Epson pigment ink are a bear to profile...but, it
can be done with pretty decent results.
Good Luck,
Ed Foster, Jr.
