Hello,
I'm new to this list but I feel confident the collective expertise here will
help solve my color problems.
I have a Mac G4, 867 Mhz dually running Jaguar. I do not understand how to
get decent color output to my Epson 860 printer from Photoshop 7.
Previously I had a Mac G3 using the same printer but using Photoshop 6. The
color output using this scenario had always been acceptable. Now that I've
bought a new machine and am running the latest OS, color output is far from
satisfactory. I've tried different profiles and different settings in
Photoshop but still the color output is terrible. I don't know whether this
is a Photoshop problem or the Mac OS.
Specifically, the colors seems to be very saturated and dark. I tried an
experiment where I printed a photo using
I work for a greeting card company and need decent color output for comping
purposes. Anything I design needs to be fairly accurate color, otherwise my
designs may not be accepted.
