winME monitor profile not showing up

Hi Group!
I have a machine here with winMe and photoshop 5.5 and 6.0
installed.
In photoshop 6 my monitor profile is accessed correctly.
In photoshop 5.5 (in the rgb setup) my profile doesn't appear
though.
In the vga properties the profile is setup correctly and I went through
the registry to check if the monitor is entered correctly. All seems fine.
Can anyone tell me why the profile might not show up in 5.5 ??
Are there restrictions to naming etc. ?
