You are printing directly from Acrobat or ripping PDF's into Photoshop? I've
got the printing from Photoshop down cold (the matching with a bit of
profile editing is so close a match it's starling). Ripped files from
InDesign 2.0 (exported as PDF and RIPed into Photoshop) work as well. But
printing from Acrobat isn't quite there yet and I assume it's because I'd
need a RIP (which I hate too). But I haven't played yet with Acrobat 5.

I'm ripping PDF's into Photoshop. One the one hand, it's great that I can do so. On the other, I wish I didn't have to...
