I don't think its a device issue. From what you wrote it sounds more like
voltage fluctuations in the building. Try pluggin the monitor into a line
condition such as APC units. You may be surprised at how much electricty
fluctuations can jeopardize monitor profiling.
The Eye-one package may be more sensitive to these fluctuations than the
DPT92 but I am just guessing. Both devices are excellent products.
