You can take multiple readings with the Spectrolino when on the scanning bed
(up to 5). I usually find one reading is just fine for most substrates but
there are cases where you would want multiple readings.

The EyeOne is said to take 100 measurements per second. How many patches you
move across in a second depends on how you move the unit. But you get plenty
of measurements per patch!
