Paper/ink combination

  • Subject: Paper/ink combination

I've been lurking for a while, just absorbing the fantastic information on
this group, and have a question you may be able to answer. It is a bit off
topic, so if it is inappropriate please let me know and I will look
elsewhere.

I am looking for a more economical ink and paper solution than the ORIS CGS
inks and paper we are using now. We are trying to match a Korean, Japanese
and Chinese press and using Oris color tuner on a PC machine through an
Epson 7000.

I have noticed that the gamut with this paper/ink combination is smaller
than what our printers can produce, though it is close in "shape" as
measured with our Spectrolino iProfile bundle.

Does someone know of a better ink/paper solution than this or point me to a
list/source of info that might be able to answer my question?

Thanks in advance!!
