Simon,

If you haven't already done so you should download Eye-One match 1.1. See http://www.i1color.com and go to the support page. This version allows you to place the measurement area anywhere on the screen. Also, with the LaCie you can choose to place the On-Screen display in any of the corners or the centre. Ideally you should place it in a corner away from you measurement area. Also note that the display times out. Once you get the locations correct and factor in the time out all should be well.
