Barry,
I have been using SpectroStar's Spectrocam UV for about 12 months with both
ColorVisions ProfilerPro and ICC RGB Suite. The unit works very, very well
with both
of those packages, producing excellent profiles. The only area of criticism
is the
need for the use of a Keyspan adapter for connection to a G4. (a small hassle)
As well as target patch reading, the Spectrocam will also allow dot gain
measuring,
ambient light measurements and (in hushed tones) display profile building.
It is a very impressive instrument.
Richard
