Apple Cinema display for color sensitive work

Previous posts on this list stated that Apples 22" Cinema TFT display works well for color sensitive imaging. A recent test regarding this issue in a German magazine agreed that the gamut is quite similar to CRTs but supposedly it takes over one hour to reach to a stable condition. Also the lighting of the monitors surface is very uneven and therefore not suited for imaging. Any comments?
