Due to the metamerism of the pigment inks used with the 2000P you will
have this green/cyan color for neutral gray tones. When you illuminate
that picture with a thungsten light source you will be surprised that it
looks pretty neutral. This means that at the present time all the
profiling tools around do not care about metamerism although most
manufacturers are working on this. I have heard of only one software
available at the moment that cares about the light source for viewing
the images and that is basICColor from Color Soltions in germany
www.basiccolor.de. The module for the output profile is called 'print
3c lux' or 'print 4c lux' depending whether you are using the standard
printer Driver (3c) or a RIP (4c). Unfortunately the web site is in
german right now but if you are interested send an e-mail to Karl Koch
(email@hidden). I did not test the software until now but
since it is the only solution I know it deserves a closer look.
I hope this helps.
All the best and happy new year everyone.
