Paul, not sure about ESS3.1 Jazz software - we use oXYgen software on
the Supreme.
Are you saying that ICC monitor calibration/profiling still works after
manually turning it back on? Or after being disabled, when you turn it
on it still does not work? Just double checking, as I am unsure. <g>
Try the manual or electronic help system for the scanner software.
Perhaps there is a preference in scanner software somewhere.
Is there a CreoScitex utility called 'ScreenMatch' installed or on the
CD etc?
Is the _preview_ or monitor segment of the monitor ICC aware - or _only_
the actual scanning side of things that is ICC aware? Perhaps the
monitor uses the older ScreenMatch calibration utility (non ICC) for
scan previews.
I don't know whats going on, so take the above as very rough ideas for
initial exploration - the lack of response so far may be that this is
too specific a question for a colour management list. Perhaps try the
'ScanHi-End' list before this one, when it comes to issues which are
closer to the scanner - as the audience is more targeted to the issue
(as in CreoScitex specific software issues).

Good luck.
