I bought both, but if I had it to do over again, I'd buy the Monaco
EZColor and it's sensor first and be done with it. Colorvision's
Photocal and their spyder do a great job with the Monitor. I still use
that. However, once I tried to use Profiler RGB with Lyson ink, all
bets were off.
Profiler did a decent job with Epson OEM inks and most papers, but even
there, I got a good, consistent profile more quickly with Monaco.
EZ Color also allows you to profile your scanner, and if you are
scanning E-6 and Kodachrome, you might just find that a great help.
(Call Kodak for the KR IT8 target, you can get the E-6 from Monaco.)
There are people who swear by, not at Profiler RGB/Plus as well. I have
just found EZ Color to work for me and do more, as well. Profiler, for
my needs, simply did not. Your mileage may vary...
But I still like my Colorvision Spyder...
