Without ever seeing the DoctorPro product, I found it difficult to see how a
PhotoShop plug-in could give the user the ability to edit the following :
Global Correction - Lightness Contrast and / or Saturation
Separate C - Y - M and K editing
Grey balance editing - separate to actual channels themselves
Selective Color Editing - LCH based reference points
White Point Editing - Paper White correction
Am I right in thinking that these are the requirements for profile editing ?
I know ColorBlind Edit has most of these features, but they need to solve
their issue with the Heidelberg CMM, and their paper white scum dot.
From what I have been 'told' it's only version 4 of GretagMcBeth
ProfileEditor that does the Grey balance editing - I only have the demo
version 3.1 downloaded from the web.
Can anyone comment on ProfileEditor 4 and it's new features ?
Darrin.
