Yes that's an issue with PS7, but assuming sRGB instead of some other even
remotely common RGB definition won't cause a huge blue shift like the
original poster described.
The problem is not PS 7 -- Olympus tagged the images as being in sRGB.
Photoshop only obeys what Olympus put in the image file.
Photoshop 6 didn't do that because it didn't read all of the EXIF data.
If you want to point a finger, point it at the camera manufacturers
who are mislabeling their image files.
