IMHO, trying to color manage color out of Quark is a maddening experience
that will almost surely end with the need to fling yourself (or your
computer) off a bridge.
Perhaps others will comment differently, but I've found that printing with
the correct settings out of Acrobat 5 can get you scads closer to managed
output than Quark's CMS ever could.
Granted distiller's not as sophisticated as iQueue or some of the high end
systems that can tag everything independently, but hey, for only $250 it
sure packs a lot for what you pay. And you can even use Adobe's ACE CMM to
do the conversions when you clik print!
I could be wrong, but the only other option directly out of Quark is Compass
ProXT from Praxisoft @ $400 a seat. Ouch.
