Yes this is true. It's accordingly to my informations fixed in SP1
(available not before end of July)

If you do it over the network might be a timeout problem occures if the
software is not getting the profiles in a certain time. To be honest I never
tried to load the profiles via a network.

This is my recommendation out of my long year experience.
It is not in the manual because it should work. It's a fact that it does not
allways.
Some things are not reproduceable. Lots of dependencies existing with the OS
and other software on the RIP Station. I assume that some of the things that
you mentioned would work here on my PC and some not
So I give you this Hints from colorsync user to colorsync user from which I
know they work.

What's odd is there is no profile used as a default with that name.

Anywhere.
Yes also true. They have had obviously no time to correct the messages.
PosterShop considers an icc profile allways as an icc profile. Never mind
that the name is different. Thats the reason for the question. If you hit
yes it does nothing because an icc is there. If you hit no it imports it
beside the existing one and because it assumes while it is newer it should
be the default.
