Yes, ICC Lab will clip hell out of unreasonably large spaces, like
photographicly recommended wide gamut RGB spaces. CIE Lab, not being limited
to 256 levels, wouldn't. High Bit does not fix this, but simply adds more
submeasurements between the existing points.
