Hi Abe,
for Best ScreenProof the SP9600 is the better choice. I produced
Proofs with 200lpi and I saw the Dotplacement up to 75% and higher.
This is not possible with the SP10000. I used for this Prints our Best
Remote Proof paper 9180. The resolution of the printer was 720dpi.
Other costumers told me, that it is possible to increase the results
if you use 2880x1440 dpi for printer resolution.
Best regards

Betreff: Epson 9600 vs. 10000 w/ Best Screenproof
Has anyone seen Best Screenproof output on an Epson 9600 and compared
it
to the output of Screenproof on an Epson 10000?
Secondarily, has anyone compared prints from the two devices to see
which one had the least change in appearance under different
illuminants?
I am considering purchasing one of these units and am trying to decide
which direction to go. I am aware that the 10000 is about twice as
fast
as the 9600, but am considering the 9600 due to the higher resolution
and the light grey ink which MIGHT produce better results with
Screenproof doing higher linescreens like 175 lsi.
Thanks,
Abe
