I thnk I have tried every dcam package out there. Using both the old chart
and the new DC Chart, Hutch Chart, Kodak IT8 Relflective target..
Here is my list of apps I have tried and own.
ProfileMaker 4.0 DCAM
Praxisoft Compass Camera Profile
Picto InCamera
ProfileCity DCAM
ColrEyes
I used ProfileCity's ICC Capture and Profile Maker with Hutch Chart
And I used SCANOPEN 4.0 to build scanner profile from IT8 Target.
I am building profiles only for my BetterLight Scan Back doing fine art
repro.
After almost two years of working with all of these charts and software,
Depending on the subject matter determines what I am going to use. But
Basically I use the most Picto's InCamera + New DC Chart excluding the
glossy patches, or I use SCANOPEN and the IT8 Target. ColorEyes is good for
the old 24 chart. Anxiusly waiting for there new target to try out.
Unfortunately nothing is perfect ever and I still need to make further
adjustiments in PS7. Sure am glad I have fifteen years on convential Drum
scanning background. Really comes in handy.
Just my 2cents.
