Whoa Bruce,
I thought this was just a lingering problem with my local small town printers.
For many years now, some have not gotton past Photoshop4 CMYK output, No
Profiles embedded period. Believe me, Photoshop5's introduction of
emmbeding profiles caused many a nightmare. Any profiles created new
problems for the printers who were not ready for them. I believed at this
point most the rest of the world had converted to an icc profiled standard.
Any guess as to percentage of shops that can print profiled CMYK better
than old school CMYK by the numbers? When will the majority be there? Is or
was Margulis right? :).
