Is there a (n easy) way to avoid having blue turn into purple when
printing?

Other colors print pretty well.

Perceptual intent looks a little less purple than relative.

Modify your profile target.
Open your print profile target in PhotoShop and make a copy. Then go to
Image/Adjust/Hue & Saturation. In the Edit box select Blues and make sure
you then select Hue. Adjust the Hue to the plus side, I used +10 to correct
the same problem. OK it and print the target as you would any other target
and profile normally. This should either fix it or at least be close.
You can use a different amount of adjustment if necessary and go further but
there is a limit before you start to create other problems. What you are
doing here is adding magenta to the blues only and as magenta in blue is the
purple you are seeing, you are making the profile "overcorrect" for magenta
in blue. If it is a problem you see commonly save the new target and use it
instead of the original target. It worked for me, I hope it cures your
problem. Good luck.
