To the best of my knowledge, it's not possible to not have a ColorSync
conversion take place for a printer (ColorSync activity happens before the
image data ever gets to the printer module). However, I could be wrong...
I'll ask my contact in the printing group at Apple about this and post the
answer (unless someone from the ColorSync group wants to respond).
