We are dedicating one of our Inkjet Printers (Epson 1160) to Monochrome
Printing using the Lyson small Gamut monochrome archival inksets, and I am
wondering if it is possible to use our Eye One Match to calibrate the setup.
My detailed questions are:
Do I deed to convert the Eye One Calibration Chart to Grayscale in Photoshop
before Printing?
Can I use the same reference files as I do with Colour Calibration or do I
have to modify it in some way?
How does the Eye Ono Pro software know that I am using Black Inks? Won't it
try to create a Colour Profile!
I know these questions may seem daft but I have a mental block at present.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Simon
