The problem is ICC Display. Just got off the phone with Jeff @ ProfileCity.
ICC Display is being updated to work with OS X/Photoshop 7 and OS
9/Photoshop 7. Look for it in 4 - 6 weeks.

Just upgraded to Photoshop v7 and everything I open displays very dark.
I've checked the usual things like LUT conflicts (no Adobe Gamma, no weird
gamma loaders, etc) but everything seems in check. V6.0.1 Displays
everything fine, but 7 displays everything wacko. These are monitor
profiles built with ICCDisplay, which makes a CLUT based profile, not
matrix-based. Could this be the problem?
And as long as I'm talking about ICC Display profiles, I can't seem to get
them to work with Kodak's Capture Studio software (DCS ProBack 645M & 760).
The software doesn't see them as valid profiles (again, maybe because they
are not matrix-based?). If you ignore the software's warning, the program
won't draw thumnails or previews. This is a major setback, as I really like
the quality of the profiles I've been getting with ICC Display.
