That was my question on the Photoshop Forum...
Here is what I observe:
When you select your display profile in System Prefs:ColorSync (OSX),
there is no apparent change in the actual display - Photoshop
specifically or system wide. When you select the same profile in in
System Prefs: Displays:Color (OSX) there is a change in the display
(correctly) - both Photoshop and system wide.
This seems like it could be the source of all the angst about OSX and
OS9 not displaying color the same way. Another confusing anomolie in
OSX - too many places to push the same button.
