Here's the classic example of calibration getting confused for
characterisation. If this lab has no quality process control then true
chasing
their moving color target is something a profile could not do. Very
unfortunate though as they are missing all the benefits of a color sure
workflow that ICC CM has to offer.
Very good CM is something that has and is being done in many labs. Whenever
there is a silly response as this lab gave you , this indicates there is
still
a real need for education and or requirement of capable color consultants.
