As a (mostly) lurker who is desperately trying to learn the
real-world application of color theory as it applies to current
ink-jet printers, scanners, etc., please let me make another plea:
Please do not change the name of a thread unless a _major_ topic
change has taken place. If you are replying to the digest, please
respond with a reply to the original message's <Subject:> rather than
creating your own subject line or replying with the digest name.
It is extremely difficult, with conventional subject-date-time sorted
email programs, to follow threads in which the topic arbitrarily
branches. And, it is impossible to arrange and print out for further
study arbitrarily-branched threads without individually examining and
ordering each contribution.
(I'm sorry if this post seems a little RFC, but I have been trying to
arrange a notebook of postings which I can study to try to make
better decisions about color management and software/hardware
purchases and the {seemingly} arbitrary changes in <Subject:> during
many threads has been driving me crazy.)
Thanks,
-=-Dennis
