OPTION D: Wait for X-Rite to come up with either better support of the DTP92
under OSX, which I keep hearing is on its way. Maybe then the Monitor
Profiler app will somehow been beefed up?
OPTION E: Wait again some more for newer screen calibrators from X-Rite who
will work natively under OSX? Where you might be able to trade your DTP92
in? But I would not count on that.
OPTION F: Sell you DTP92 on eBay.
The IccDisplay OPTION is an excellent suggestion, since it fully supports
the DTP92 under OS9, now, and under OSX within the next few weeks, I was
told by ProfileCity (yeah, you can also get it from integratedcolorsolutions
under that other name). That's a definite option to keep in mind especially
considering that iccDisplay only sells for $99 and supports such a wide
variety of instrument, including the Spectrocam -- which I finally got to
work as a spectral camera (sorry for you guys south of border, you can't
have that. That's a very, very nice feature of the Spectrocam).
Not an easy choice, indeed.
For my parts, these days, I have my CRT calibrated and profile with Fuji
ColourKit v3 and an EyeOnePro under OSX. Amazing piece of software!
