Thanks to all who responded to my contact sheet query.
I checked out all the various plug-ins and programs I was advised to.
And the winner is, without question, the fantastic little photoshop plug-in
"FotoPage Platinum" available for free trial at www.infinitimages.com
Anyone using anything other than this should check it out !
Not only does this little guy do every thing you could hope for in proof sheet,
it does very quickly and within the colour managed safety of Photoshop.
Life just got easier !
