Andrew (and others),
Can you provide a more detailed evaluation of the Artisan? Besides
it's calibration and characterizations strengths, how about screen
uniformity and sharpness. I've seen a lot of the new "flat" CRT
monitors that are out of focus in the corners and I haven't seen any
monitor that is really uniform (and I'm using a Barco Ref V now). We
are buying two new workstations and were thinking of going the Lacie
route (without blue eye) but this Sony sounds like a serious
contender. Any detail you can provide is greatly appreciated.

And what are your inputs? A friend of mine who is a colorist says it is
almost a Grade1 monitor.
Let's put it this way; I sold my Barco Reference V and use the Sony in it's
place!
