Yes.
Many of the files on my website consist of blocks of solid color, for which
the LZW compression scheme is highly efficient, saving storage space and
download times with zero quality loss.
You can open an LZW file in Photoshop and then save it again in standard
TIFF format. Or you can also place LZW files in Quark, but check to see that
your RIP accepts them.
