This is relatively (absolutely?) straightforward, at least if you're using
Gretag profiles and Logo ColorLab. You can extract the original reference
data and measured RGB values of the target from the profile and save both as
a text file. Using ColorLab, import both text files. Convert the scanner RGB
data file to Lab and use the Compare tool to measure the delta E between the
converted Lab values of the scan to the reference Lab values of the target.
