I've been experiencing problems similar to those related by Kris with my
PowerBook G4. To wit, intermittent success (usually not) with the
EyeOne in strip mode, no problem with spot measurements. I've spoken
with G/M tech support and they were not aware of other Titaniums with
similar problems. We have an iBook that has not exhibited this behavior
at all.
I've been assuming that my machine has not been supplying enough power
via the USB port and that I would just have to live with this. If you,
or anyone else, can amplify on the File Sharing / Memory Management
solution, I would be most appreciative.
